I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As much as looks go, its a five star product. It appears its somewhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated 's no bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. With that in mind this futon is 4 feet faraway from a stark white desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast a good enough warm light for the room that they can almost end up being the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or possibly a 4 depending upon when it comes time to flip it right side up.
