I'm torn between 3-4 stars. So far as looks go, its a 5 star product. It seems its anywhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. With that said this futon is 4 feet away from a stark bright white desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light around the room they almost become the same color. From an assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or even a 4 depending upon when it's time to flip it right side up. Both The halves are tied together via a standard hinge and flipping it over all on your own could be a chore because there is so much flex it seems like just as if its gonna break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the issue but it is now possible on your own as well, you just can't toss it on its feet is perhaps all I'm saying. Feet, while metal, really are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I will understand as other folks have said the legs have snapped with the welds why. In order to avoid that never perform the typical sitting adjustment in which you just suddenly thrust or scoot your system to switch sitting position, I'd imagine that is what puts the lateral torque that triggers welds to destroy, sideways.
