I'm torn between 3-4 stars. In terms of looks go, its a five star product. It seems its anywhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. With that in mind this futon is 4 feet from a stark bright white desk but neither piece looks misplaced, also incandescent lighting will cast a reasonable warm light about the room which they almost end up being the same color. Now in terms of the pad, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it is super, very, very, thin. You are able to tell by just pushing your finger into it how thin it really is. for this reason, I can say dogs, cats, and children looking at this could destroy it inside 10 mins. it is only a real thin, soft material, that I just honestly believe that the covering will wear out a long time before the frame, cushioning, etc.We have several faux leather ottomans from Target and they are generally a much thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness from the covering will also show stretching pretty fast, there exists a side which has more wrinkles as opposed to other from only the occasional use. Even so the tufted design has a tendency to hide it, as well as a few pillows that'll be on the anyway.
