I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As far as looks go, its a upscale product. It seems like its somewhere within Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated isn't an bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. With that said this futon is 4 feet away from a stark bright white desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast a good enough warm light for the room that they almost get to be the same color. From an assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or possibly a 4 depending upon when it comes time to flip it right side up. The 2 halves are tied together by way of a standard hinge and flipping it over all on your own can be a chore because there is much flex it seems like its planning to break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the matter but easy it really is on your own too, you merely can't toss it on its feet is I'm saying. The feet, while metal, certainly are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I will understand as others have said the legs have snapped at the welds why. Now as far as the pad, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it is very very, very, very, thin.
