I'm torn between 3-4 stars. So far as looks go, its a upscale product. It seems its somewhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated isn't an bright Apple store white, however really an off, vanilla. That being said this futon is 4 feet far from a stark white-colored desk but neither piece looks misplaced, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light around the room that they almost become the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or a 4 based on when the time comes to turnover it right side up.
