I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As much as looks go, its a five star product. It seems like its somewhere within Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated 's no bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. That being said this futon is 4 feet away from a stark white colored desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast a good enough warm light on the room that they can almost ended up being the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or a 4 depending upon when it comes time turnover it right side up.
