I'm torn between 3-4 stars. So far as looks go, its a five star product. It seems like its anywhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated isn't a bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. Having said that this futon is 4 feet from a stark white-colored desk but neither piece looks misplaced, also incandescent lighting will cast a reasonable warm light about the room which they almost become the same color. From an assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or perhaps a 4 dependant on when it comes time to turnover it right side up. The 2 Main halves are tied together with a standard hinge and flipping it over all on your own can be a chore while there is a lot flex it seems just as if its going to break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the problem but easy it really is on your own at the same time, you merely can't toss it on its feet is perhaps all I'm saying. Feet, while metal, certainly are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I'm able to understand as other people have said the legs have snapped with the welds why. To stop that don't perform typical sitting adjustment in places you just suddenly thrust or scoot your body to switch sitting position, I'd imagine it is exactly what puts the lateral torque that causes welds to interrupt, sideways. Merely a thicker gauge metal would resolve any worries. Not necessarily sure how it can be reinforced besides the owner adding wood feet anywhere else, but that will take me to my next point. To date I do think I'm 3-4 weeks into ownership, and to find out no sagging to the FRAME as of yet, Observed where you will find there's possibility for it with long term use. Just for the sake of disclosure I have this product inside my front office/computer game room at home, there can be weekly where I don't even use there, not to mention take a moment, but you will have spurts just like the last two weeks I have laid for this for 4 hours every evening playing xbox. If this type of item was used as a day to day living room sofa with multiple people at a time I think it would be much more over quickly compared to sporadic use mine gets.I'm 5'11ish I reckon that and 210lbs. I am it's comfortable if you understand what it's, its not some super cushy sofa your gonna sink on to watching Netflix for 12 hours. The best way to describe the cushion/padding on this is similar to a waiting room chair or seats with the movie theatre. They have cushion for it, but it is a strong cushion. It's not one of the most comfortable but it is a lot better than a solid plastic or wood chair without any cushion in any way. In futon mode I think it will be the perfect foundation to put a twin or adult size blow up mattress on with an occasional unexpectedly guest bed. Sleeping on it bare for a full night might be a stretch but also for an afternoon nap, I'd no issues usually the one time Cleaning it once a it. I can't get people that expect futons to be a full time primary bed and wish improved of a tempurpedic, a futon is similar void like a daybed, occasional sleeping for naps or temporary guests without taking up the size of the full time dedicated framed mattress bed. Now as far as the fabric, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it is extra, very, very, thin. You'll be able to tell by simply pushing your finger with it how thin it's. for this reason, I will say dogs, cats, and youngsters located on this may destroy it in about 10 mins. it is such a thin, soft material, that we just honestly think that the covering will wear out well before the frame, cushioning, etc.We have several faux leather ottomans from Target plus they are a significantly thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness in the covering will likely show stretching pretty fast, you will find there's side that has more wrinkles as opposed to other from only the occasional use. Though the tufted design is likely to hide it, as well as a few pillows that'll be there anyway. Sorry for a real long review however, I am always glad to determine thorough review for items I am considering.
