I'm torn between 3-4 stars. In terms of looks go, its a elegant product. It seems like its anywhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, however more of an off, vanilla. That being said this futon is 4 feet away from a stark bright white desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light for the room they almost become the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or possibly a 4 based upon when it's time turnover it right side up. Both The halves are tied together using a standard hinge and flipping it over alone can be quite a chore because there is a lot flex it appears as though its going to break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the problem but easy it really is all on your own as well, you only can't toss it on its feet is I'm saying. Feet, while metal, are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I could understand as other individuals have said the legs have snapped on the welds why. I can't get folks that expect futons to be a regular primary bed and desire the comfort of an tempurpedic, a futon is the same void like a daybed, occasional sleeping for naps or temporary guests without taking up the dimensions of an entire time dedicated framed mattress bed. Now as far as the information, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it is extra, very, very, thin. You can tell just by pushing your finger in it how thin it's. because of this, I will say dogs, cats, and youngsters sitting on this could destroy it in about ten mins. it is only this kind of thin, soft material, i just honestly think that the covering will break a long time before the frame, cushioning, etc.We've several faux leather ottomans from Target and they're an extremely thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness of the covering will likely show stretching pretty fast, there is a side which includes more wrinkles than the other from the occasional use. Even so the tufted design will hide it, as well as a few pillows that will be there anyway.
