I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As much as looks go, its a five star product. It seems like its somewhere within Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, but in fact really an off, vanilla. With that in mind this futon is 4 feet far from a stark white colored desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light for the room they almost end up being the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or even a 4 depending upon when it comes time to flip it right side up.
