I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As far as looks go, its a five star product. It seems its approximately Ultra and Mid-century modern. The colour as others have stated isn't an bright Apple store white, however much more of an off, vanilla. With that said this futon is 4 feet away from a stark white-colored desk but neither piece looks homeless, also incandescent lighting will cast a reasonable warm light for the room that they almost become the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or even a 4 based on when it comes time to flip it right side up. The Two halves are tied together via a standard hinge and flipping it over all on your own could be a chore while there is much flex it seems like as if its likely to break. 2 people flipping concurrently solves the issue but it is possible by yourself also, you just can't toss it on its feet is perhaps all I'm saying. Your feet, while metal, are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I can understand as other individuals have said the legs have snapped on the welds why.
