I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As far as looks go, its a upscale product. It seems its anywhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. The colour as others have stated isn't an bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. With that in mind this futon is 4 feet away from a stark white colored desk but neither piece looks homeless, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light about the room that they almost get to be the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or a 4 based upon when it's time to flip it right side up.
