I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As far as looks go, its a 5 star product. It seems its somewhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, however much more of an off, vanilla. That being said this futon is 4 feet from a stark bright white desk but neither piece looks unnatural, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light on the room that they almost become the same color. From an assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or even a 4 dependant on when it's time to turnover it right side up. The 2 halves are tied together using a standard hinge and flipping it over on your own can be quite a chore nevertheless there is a great deal flex it seems as though its going to break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the matter but it is now possible by yourself also, you merely can't toss it on its feet is all I'm saying. I do not get people that expect futons to be a regular primary bed and wish enhanced comfort of your tempurpedic, a futon is similar void being a daybed, occasional sleeping for naps or temporary guests without taking up the dimensions of a complete time dedicated framed mattress bed. Now as much as the pad, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it's very, very, very, thin. You'll be able to tell by only pushing your finger into it how thin it really is. for that reason, I will say dogs, cats, and youngsters looking at this may destroy it within ten mins. it is this type of thin, soft material, which i just honestly think that the covering will degrade prior to the frame, cushioning, etc.I have several faux leather ottomans from Target and they are generally a significantly thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness with the covering may also show stretching pretty fast, you will find there's side which has more wrinkles as opposed to other from the occasional use. Nevertheless the tufted design tends to hide it, and a few pillows that'll be on there anyway.
