I'm torn between 3-4 stars. So far as looks go, its a upscale product. It seems like its somewhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Large as others have stated isn't a bright Apple store white, however more of an off, vanilla. With that said this futon is 4 feet from a stark white colored desk but neither piece looks out of place, also incandescent lighting will cast a good enough warm light about the room they almost ended up being the same color. From an assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or perhaps a 4 based on when it's time to flip it right side up. The Two halves are tied together via a standard hinge and flipping it over alone could be a chore because there is a great deal flex it appears as if its likely to break. 2 people flipping at the same time solves the problem but it is possible alone also, you merely can't toss it on its feet is all I'm saying. Feet, while metal, really are a VERY thin gauge tubing. I will understand as other people have said the legs have snapped at the welds why. In order to avoid that do not perform the typical sitting adjustment that you just suddenly thrust or scoot one's body to switch sitting position, I'd imagine that maybe what puts the lateral torque that produces welds to get rid of, sideways. Simply a thicker gauge metal would resolve any worries. Certainly not sure how it can be reinforced besides the owner adding wood feet anywhere else, but that brings me to my next point. So far I do think I'm 3-30 days in to ownership, and to find out no sagging towards the FRAME by yet, I noticed where there is a possibility because of it with long-term use. Just for the sake of disclosure We have this system during my front office/gaming room in the home, there might be every week where I do not even go ahead there, not to say sit back, but then you will have spurts such as the last two weeks We've laid with this for 4 hours each night playing xbox. I can't get people who expect futons to become full-time primary bed and need improved of a tempurpedic, a futon is the same void as being a daybed, occasional sleeping for naps or temporary guests without taking up the size of an entire time dedicated framed mattress bed. Now as much as the material, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, but it is very very, very, very, thin. It is possible to tell just by pushing your finger into it how thin it can be. for that reason, I will say dogs, cats, and youngsters sitting on this can destroy it within 10 mins. it's just such a thin, soft material, i just honestly think that the covering will need replacing prior to the frame, cushioning, etc.We've several faux leather ottomans from Target plus they are an extremely thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness of the covering will likely show stretching pretty fast, there is a side which includes more wrinkles compared to other from only the occasional use. However the tufted design tends to hide it, as well as a few pillows that'll be there anyway.
