I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As much as looks go, its a 5 star product. It seems like its somewhere within Ultra and Mid-century modern. The color as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, however more of an off, vanilla. Having said that this futon is 4 feet from a stark white desk but neither piece looks out of place, also incandescent lighting will cast a reasonable warm light for the room which they almost become the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or a 4 depending upon when it's time turnover it right side up.
