I'm torn between 3-4 stars. As much as looks go, its a 5 star product. It seems like its somewhere between Ultra and Mid-century modern. Along with as others have stated isn't a bright Apple store white, but in fact much more of an off, vanilla. That being said this futon is 4 feet from a stark white colored desk but neither piece looks homeless, also incandescent lighting will cast a reasonable warm light about the room which they almost ended up being the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or perhaps a 4 based on when it comes time turnover it right side up. You can tell by simply pushing your finger with it how thin it really is. for this reason, I'm able to say dogs, cats, and children standing on this might destroy it inside ten mins. it is such a thin, soft material, i just honestly believe that the covering will wear out prior to the frame, cushioning, etc.I've several faux leather ottomans from Target and they are a lot thicker, resilient material than this.
