I'm torn between 3-4 stars. So far as looks go, its a elegant product. It appears its approximately Ultra and Mid-century modern. Along with as others have stated is not a bright Apple store white, however more of an off, vanilla. With that said this futon is 4 feet from a stark white desk but neither piece looks homeless, also incandescent lighting will cast enough of a warm light about the room that they almost ended up being the same color. From your assembly standpoint I'd say its a 3 or a 4 depending upon when it's time to turnover it right side up. The 2 halves are tied together by way of a standard hinge and flipping it over alone can be quite a chore while there is a lot flex it seems like as if its planning to break. 2 people flipping concurrently solves the problem but it can be done all on your own at the same time, you just can't toss it on its feet is all I'm saying. Now as far as the pad, the faux leather/pleather looks nice, however it is super, very, very, thin. You can tell by simply pushing your finger into it how thin it is. for this reason, I can say dogs, cats, and youngsters looking at this can destroy it within 10 mins. it is only this type of thin, soft material, which i just honestly believe the covering will break a long time before the frame, cushioning, etc.I've several faux leather ottomans from Target and they are generally a significantly thicker, resilient material than this. The thinness from the covering may also show stretching pretty fast, there exists a side which includes more wrinkles compared to other from just the occasional use. Even so the tufted design is likely to hide it, and a few pillows that'll be on the website anyway.
